6. Why does the toolbar slow down the Internet Explorer?
The Pictures Toolbar and the Download Toolbar scan the download folder for files when the Internet Explorer starts. If the download folder contains many files or directories then the scanning slows down the Internet Explorer.

Changing the download folder from the options page to a folder with fewer files solves the problem.
