Gallery Description Files Gallery description files make it possible to share galleries with other Download Toolbar users. There are two kinds of gallery description files: File lists and download descriptions. A file list is basically a list of links. File list are preferable if a gallery contains a fixed limited set of files, for example a thumbnail gallery. A download description is a link to a start page and the download toolbar settings required to download a gallery from that page. Download descriptions are preferable if the files in a gallery change, or if the gallery contains many files. Below are three examples. Make sure you have installed and opened version 2.0 of the Download Toolbar before trying them out. Ferrari Pictures from Google Image Search (file list). Heidi Klum from Google Image Search (download description). Yellowstone Pictures (file list). To create your own gallery description files first use the Download Toolbar to download a gallery. Then click on the Save Description File button in the toolbar, and save the gallery as either a file list or a download description. Gallery description files can be uploaded to web sites and emailed to friends. To use a gallery description file simply click on a link to the description file in the Internet Explorer, or open the description file directly in the Internet Explorer.
