Use the Download button to create a new gallery containing the pictures or files found on the current web page.
You can either choose an on-the-fly download method, or a pre-defined or a user-defined download method.
The pre-defined download methods covers the most common download situations. One example is "Music", which downloads mp3 files. Pre-defined and user-defined download methods are selected from the Download drop-down menu:

On-the-fly download methods are used to download files not
covered by the pre-defined download methods. You can select other file types, or
create on-the-fly URL
filters. Click
to use an on-the-fly download method.
When the toolbar starts downloading it creates a new directory on the local hard disk. The downloaded files are saved in this directory. A text file called <gallery name>.xml is created in the directory. The toolbar saves information about the files in the gallery in this XML file, for example addresses of the web pages where the files were found.
By default the toolbar runs a slideshow displaying the downloaded pictures while downloading. If you wish to continue browsing while downloads are in progress then turn off the automatic slideshow from the options page.
Hint: You can download a single picture or file by right-clicking on the picture or a link to the file and selecting "Save To Gallery".
