The options tab controls some
download parameters.

- Buffer size: When the toolbar downloads a HTML document it scans
the document for links. The links are added to an internal buffer and checked
one at a time. If the buffer runs full then the toolbar skips new links until
it has processed some of the links in the buffer. The default buffer size is 1000.
- Connections (total): The total number of connections to web servers
that the toolbar is allowed to open simultaneously. This number should be
adjusted to your internet connection bandwidth. The higher the bandwidth, the
more simultaneous connections. For example, 3-4 for dial-up connections and
10-15 for broadband connections. The default is 10 connections.
- Connections (per server): The number of connections allowed to a
single web server. Most web servers do not allow more than two simultaneous
connections. The default is two connections per web server.
- Timeout (in seconds): This parameter
defines how long to wait for web server to respond before aborting a download.
The default value is 10 seconds. It may be necessary to increase the value if
you are downloading files from a very slow web server. The timeout value
should however be kept low when a download isn't limited to a single web
server to prevent non-responding web servers from blocking the download.
