The Download Toolbar makes a number of pre-defined
download methods available. The pre-defined download methods cover the most common download
needs:
- Documents: Downloads
Microsoft Word documents (.doc) and PDF documents (.pfd).
- Flickr: Downloads pictures from
www.flickr.com. The URL filters defined by this method
direct the downloader towards the actual images.
- Google Image Search: Downloads pictures found using
Google's image search
function. The method must be activated on the web page displaying the search
result. The URL filters defined by the method direct the downloader towards
the actual pictures.
- Movies: Downloads movie files (.asf, .avi, mpeg,
.mpg, .rm, .wmv).
- Music: Downloads music files (.mp3, .ram).
- Pictures [Same Server]: Downloads pictures (.jpe,
.jpeg, .jpg). This methods looks only on the same web server as the current
web page. It is usually the most effective method when downloading a thumbnail
gallery.
- Pictures: Downloads pictures (.jpe, .jpeg, .jpg).
This method examines all links, i.e. not just links to a single web server.
The method is used if, for example, the pictures in a thumbnail gallery are on
a different web server than the thumbnail gallery itself.
- Yahoo Groups: Downloads images from
Yahoo Groups. The URL filters defined
by this method direct the downloader towards the actual images.
