Pages, graphics and pictures on the web pages you visit are stored in the internet file cache (in the temporary internet files folder). This makes accessing the pages faster when the pages are revisited. Cookies, that keep track of your movements on specific web sites, are also stored in the internet file cache.
The Edit Cache button lets you view and edit the content of the internet file cache.
To view the content of the internet file cache, click Show Files... or Show Cookies...
