The proxy server page manages a list of proxy servers. To open the proxy server page select Proxy Servers... in the Cooxie menu.
The list is initially empty. To manually add a proxy server to the list click the Add... button, and enter the address and port number of a proxy server, for example 193.170.189.154 and 80 or www.diodia.com and 8080.
Proxy servers can also be harvested from a list of proxy servers found on the internet.
A proxy server is activated by checking the check-box to the left of the proxy server, or by selecting the proxy server in the proxy selector in the Cooxie Toolbar.
To test the speed of a proxy server click the test button (
) to the
right of the proxy server. A test page and a timeout value must be entered
before a test can be performed. To test all proxy servers in the list click the
Test All button.
To delete a proxy server from the list click the delete button (
). To
delete all proxy servers from the list click the Delete All button.
